The owner and founder of Apex Mechanical Services, Jeremiah Auclair, has been in the commercial HVAC, Electrical, and Building Automation/Controls industries for over thirty years. In this time, he has worked for several of the best companies in New England. In each role, Jeremiah has used these opportunities to learn what works and what doesn’t, particularly when it comes to people and culture.
Apex Mechanical Services was born from Jeremiah’s desire to create a culture that has been missing from the commercial HVAC industry. Jeremiah’s knowledge and experience allow him to create and capture a culture that attracts and develops some of the highest skilled and motivated tradesmen in the industry.
Role Description
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years of commercial HVAC experience (residential experience considered)
- Proficiency in HVAC Equipment Installations, Service, Repair, and Preventive Maintenance practices
- Knowledge of Automated Building Controls is a plus
- Strong Troubleshooting, Problem-solving and Communication skills
- Must work well as an Individual and in a Team Environment
- MA Refrigeration Technician license (or other relevant licenses, certifications and training)
- EPA and OSHA Certifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must meet requirements of the occupation such as lifting 50 lbs., walking distances, kneeling for extended periods of time, and climbing ladders
- Possess and maintain a valid and current driver’s license and good driving record
- Availability to work overtime when needed
- Strong sense of purpose and a great attitude… we work hard, we work together, and we get shit done!

Opportunities exist for motivated individuals to obtain their Refrigeration Technician license, Journeyman Electrician and/or Sheet Metal licensing. Apex Mechanical Services is established with both the state of Massachusetts and Connecticut apprentice programs allowing you to earn your professional licenses in both states. As we grow, additional licensing opportunities will become available. Our seasoned technicians are very dedicated, and many are already multi-licensed, or currently in the process.

Our current team specializes in turnkey HVAC and Building Automation installations, energy retrofits, service, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Our approach to building automation and controls is open and transparent, placing the customer first over the proprietary corporate model.
